The Velociraptor returns with its new design in Fallen Kingdom, although we're limited to just one this time in the form of Blue. The franchise addressed this several times, reminding audiences in Jurassic World (directed by Colin Trevorrow) that these creatures are the result of several different combinations of genetic material from dinosaurs and material from modern animals such as frogs and cuttlefish. ![]() For example, many of them- the therapods in particular- are known to have possessed feathers in real life. It's worth noting that almost none of the creatures you see in the films are accurate representations of their real-world counterparts.
